Upcoming Vampire Fantasy Series Planned for SMJU Phase 3

Celenic Earth Publications is pleased to announce that Shaun M Jooste has begun developing ideas for an exciting new vampire fantasy series. Although Phase 2 of the Shaun M Jooste Universe (SMJU) is already set in motion, this untitled series is planned as part of Phase 3, marking Jooste’s first major step into gothic vampire storytelling.
Inspired by V Rising
The idea for this series was sparked while Jooste was playing and reviewing V Rising. Although not an official adaptation, the game’s dark atmosphere and survival-driven mechanics inspired him to explore his own unique vampire world. The upcoming series will feature an original map, locations, creatures, and bosses, all crafted with Jooste’s signature dark fantasy style.
Restarting with Update 1.1
To build on this inspiration, Jooste has restarted his journey in V Rising with the release of version 1.1. This update introduces new features and the Oakvale location, requiring a fresh playthrough. His latest recorded sessions are available on YouTube, offering fans a glimpse of the gothic tone influencing this future series.
