The weekend has arrived again, and sometimes the best plan is simply making time for the things you enjoy.

For those of us who love stories, that might mean finally opening the book that has been waiting beside the bed all week. Perhaps there is a video game calling your name, a movie you’ve been meaning to watch, or even a story of your own waiting to be written.

Weekends don’t always need elaborate plans.

At Celenic Earth Publications, storytelling is at the heart of much of what we do. We work with books, authors and creative projects throughout the week, but we’re also readers, gamers and lovers of entertainment ourselves.

This weekend, consider giving yourself permission to disappear into another world for a few hours. Explore a fantasy kingdom. Investigate a supernatural mystery. Discover a new author. Pick up that unfinished manuscript again.

Stories give us somewhere else to go without requiring us to leave home.
