A new journey into the past is almost ready to begin.
Celenic Earth Publications is delighted to announce that Pages of History by Angelia will officially launch on 14 September 2026, bringing readers two historical fiction stories centred on courage, conscience, love, sacrifice, and the choices people make during challenging times.
Pre-order links will be available soon, giving readers the opportunity to secure their copies ahead of release day.
Two Historical Stories in One Collection

Pages of History contains two complete works of historical fiction: Enlightening and Winter Dream. Although they take place in different countries and historical periods, both explore characters confronting the expectations and injustices of the societies in which they live.
In Enlightening, readers travel to America during the Civil War. Blake Dynevor has grown up as the privileged son of a Mississippi landowner, but his life changes dramatically after his father’s death.
A letter reveals that Blake’s biological mother was an enslaved woman whom his father later sold. The discovery forces Blake to question his identity, his upbringing, and everything he once accepted about slavery.
His transformation eventually takes him from the Confederate South to the Union Army, where his story unfolds against historical events including the Battle of Fort Hindman and the Siege of Vicksburg. His path also becomes intertwined with Helen Fields, a Southern woman who risks her safety to help enslaved people escape.
A Different Battle in Winter Dream
Winter Dream transports readers across the Atlantic to early nineteenth-century Wales, where Rachel Elswick lives with her family at an inn near Llandudno.
Rachel’s relatively peaceful existence changes when she attracts the attention of the powerful Lord Claredon. Refusing to exchange her dignity for wealth and status, Rachel becomes caught in a devastating deception involving her new husband, Alun Davinier.
What follows is a deeply personal struggle for freedom, honour, and control over her own future. Meanwhile, Hywel Belcher, the young man raised alongside the Elswick family, becomes determined to find Rachel and bring her home.
Pages of History Arrives This September
With these two stories, Angelia (author of Fragments of the Past) explores how people living within the restrictions and beliefs of another era can still face questions that resonate today.
What does it mean to follow your conscience? How much should someone sacrifice for what they believe is right? And can love, faith, and courage survive when society itself seems determined to stand in the way?
Pages of History by Angelia launches on 14 September 2026 through Celenic Earth Publications.
Pre-order links will be announced soon, so keep an eye on Celenic Earth Publications for your opportunity to order the book before its official release.
The pages are written. History awaits.
