Horror fans looking for something unsettling to play this September have another reason to step inside Martha’s House. Martha’s Dolls 2 has received its Major Patch Update 1.0, bringing a substantial collection of performance improvements, bug fixes, audio upgrades and quality-of-life changes to the recently released horror sequel.
Developed and published by AJB GAMES STUDIO, Martha’s Dolls 2 launched on 1 September 2026, continuing the sinister story established in the original game. Players once again enter a world of haunted porcelain dolls, dark secrets and places that perhaps should have remained unexplored.
Even better, we’ll be streaming Martha’s Dolls 2 tonight, giving us the perfect opportunity to experience the newly updated version for ourselves.
What Is Martha’s Dolls 2 About?

Martha’s Dolls 2 returns players to the decaying Martha Estate following the events of the first chapter. This time, players take on the role of an experienced urban explorer drawn to the property by stories surrounding Martha, her porcelain collection and the people who have disappeared while investigating the estate.
The house has also expanded since the original adventure. There are new rooms to investigate, hidden crawlspaces to discover and previously inaccessible secrets waiting within the estate. Unfortunately, the player isn’t the first person who decided to investigate. Notes and abandoned equipment scattered throughout the environment suggest that others came searching for answers—and never returned.
Then there are the dolls.
They aren’t simply creepy decorations sitting quietly in dark corners. The returning dolls are more dangerous, their behaviour more calculated, and the game combines exploration, puzzles, survival elements and psychological horror as players attempt to uncover the truth behind Martha’s House.
Major Patch Update 1.0 Improves the Experience
The latest update focuses heavily on making the horror experience smoother and more reliable. Overall project optimisation has been improved to provide better and more consistent frame rates, while a critical problem affecting the main menu has also been resolved.
Player controls received attention too. An issue affecting movement for players using AZERTY keyboard layouts has been fixed, alongside several collision problems capable of trapping players inside environmental geometry. Players should also now be able to access the inventory correctly during gameplay.
Several important interaction problems have been addressed in the game as well.
The update fixes keypad buttons that could previously become unusable, a paper examination bug capable of leaving players trapped in the inspection state, malfunctioning drawers and an issue preventing the generator from being activated.
Camera battery consumption has also been reduced significantly, creating what should be a fairer survival experience without removing the tension surrounding resource management.
Martha’s House Should Sound Scarier Too

Perhaps some of the most interesting improvements involve the atmosphere.
Major Patch Update 1.0 introduces brand-new voice acting alongside improvements to environmental audio quality. The forest now features additional ambient sounds and effects, helping establish the atmosphere before players even begin dealing with whatever horrors are waiting for them.
The Syachico doll received several fixes of her own, including a mesh problem that could cause her to clip through walls. Her audio should also stop correctly after she disappears instead of continuing indefinitely.
Finally, a bizarre visual glitch that could cause bodies to vanish when the player repeatedly tilted the camera towards the ceiling has been repaired.
