Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes a thrilling lineup of gaming tournaments brought to you by the Toyota Gaming Engine (TTGE). If you’re a speed enthusiast and have a passion for competitive gaming, you’re in for a treat.
TTGE has prepared an exciting series of events featuring two beloved titles: WRC 10 and Mario Kart. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a newcomer to the world of gaming competitions, the TTGE Spring Series promises an opportunity for all to test their skills and compete for fantastic prizes. So, buckle up and get ready to race your way to glory!
TTGE Spring Series Press Release
Spring is right around the corner, and racing around the bend are the Toyota Gaming Engine’s latest online tournaments dedicated to speed freaks. Enter the TTGE Spring Series, played on WRC 10 and Mario Kart, and put the pedal to the metal for epic weekly and monthly prizes.
Stand a chance to WIN an all-expenses-paid trip to the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo in 2024 simply by entering your favourite free-to-play time trial challenge. Each month there will be a new lap in both challenges for racers to test their skills from September until October.

DETAILS
Get in the driver’s seat of a Toyota GR Yaris in WRC 10, race in an online time trial for weekly and monthly prizes, and you’ll automatically enter the lucky draw to WIN a trip to the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo in 2024.
At the end of each week, the top 3 racers will win tickets to Comic Con Africa in Joburg. At the end of each month, the 3 best racers from each TTGE Spring Series tournament will win their share of R1000 in Takealot vouchers.
HOW TO COMPETE
- Click on Sign Up and enter your WRC Username
- Laps will be generated at the tournament Start Date
- Submit your lap times before each end date
REQUIREMENTS
- All players must reside(currently live in) a Sub Saharan African Country. For a full list of eligible countries see the Rules page

- Submissions open: 8 September 10:00
- Submissions close: 15 September 10:00
Week 3:
- Track: Kenya | Ngema
- Car: Toyota GR Yaris
- Submissions open: 15 September 10:00
- Submissions close: 22 September 10:00
Week 4:
- Track: Wales | Brenig
- Car: Toyota GR Yaris
- Submissions open: 22 September 10:00
- Submissions close: 29 September 10:00
QUICK RULES
HOW TO PLAY
- Start World Rally Championship 10 (WRC 10)
- Select ‘Quick Play’
- Select the Rally and Stage listed for the week
- Configure weather as listed for the week
- Select WRC car category
- Select Toyota Yaris WRC car
- Select any driving team of preference
- Ensure damage effects are set to ‘Medium’ under ‘Options’ > ‘Gameplay settings’
- Start stage
On completion of stage time, please take a screenshot of your completed stage which will indicate:
- Your name
- Car used
- Stage time
- Country and rally stage
- Should you miss the opportunity to capture your stage time directly after completing your run, head to the in-game ‘Leaderboard’ listing and find your time in the global rankings. Take a screenshot with the information as above.
Log into the TTGE site (if you are not already) and submit your stage time on the relevant WRC tournament page. You will be required to fill in your time and upload a screenshot. Failure to complete the requirement will result in your time not being captured.
- It is recommended that you record your stage run using the built in platform’s DVR system in case the time is disputed.
- Console DVR available via the share options
