Accepting new publishing submissions for nonfiction books

As many of you may know from our long history in the publishing industry, we’ve mainly focused on fiction novels. Sure, we have a list of nonfiction books, but they are few and far between. While we prefer imaginative stories, we realise that many readers love nonfiction insights, especially about specific topics.
Therefore, Celenic Earth Publications has decided to open its publishing doors to nonfiction books. If you have an idea for a book, are working on one already, or have completed a manuscript, we’re ready to see what you’ve got in store for the world. Here are some details on what we’re aiming for.
Types of Nonfiction Books
Nonfiction is a genre that covers several aspects of life considered factual. In other words, we don’t make stories up based on fantasy lands or fictional characters. Since the genre is so broad, it can cover anything in the world, even some myths in different cultures.
Some nonfiction books in different genres are more popular than others, depending on what readers worldwide are interested in. Here are some of the more common types of topics you’ll find in the non-fiction realm:
- Historical
- Biographical
- Travelling
- Academic or educational
- Philosophical
- Religious/Spiritual
- Scientific
- Journalistic
- Self-help guides/business
- Manuals
- Satire commentary on real-world situations
Which Nonfiction Books is CEP accepting?
While there are a wealth of nonfiction books we can publish, we’d like to start 2023 with a select few. We’re still open to ideas, but we’re placing priorities on these at the moment. No matter where you are in the world, you’re welcome to submit your manuscripts for consideration.
Religious/Spiritual/Inspirational
Religious nonfiction books are probably the most common submissions we’ve had in the past. Many people want to share their thoughts and beliefs about a specific deity. Yes, that’s right, we don’t only accept Christian books. We’re open to any form of spiritual or inspirational manuscripts without prejudice. It can even be about meditations or purely about faith without focusing on a specific deity.
Fishing
We’re big fans of fishing and have loved the hobby for several years, both fresh and saltwater. If you have a passion for fishing and would love to share your experience, you’re more than welcome to. Even nonfiction books that provide helpful guides on buying and setting up equipment will be greatly appreciated.
Astronomy
Astronomy is not to be confused with astrology, where the latter falls under the spiritual nonfiction books category. When it comes to the former, it’s the actual study of the stars, moons, planets, and other celestial entities to learn more about them. We’d love to publish any books in the astronomy field, especially thoughts on black holes and what they consist of.
Philosophy
Philosophy takes a deeper look at our very existence, answering the ‘why’ of so many questions in life. I’ve been obsessed with works by Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas since I was a teenager, when many others were too busy looking for romantic relationships. Anyone with manuscripts dealing specifically with different fields in philosophy is more than welcome to submit.
Scientific and Biological
Here’s another broad category for nonfiction books we’d like to focus on. Whether your book looks at current research and discoveries or the tools being used in the field today, we’ll gladly accept any scientific manuscripts. It can be any field of science today, covering topics your hearts desire. These include books about plants and animals.
Biography
We’ve had many requests for biographical nonfiction books in the past that we declined. We were a bit hesitant to step into this subgenre. However, we’ve seen a massive surge of these books in 2022, so we’re happy to take a chance on it for 2023. Feel free to tell us about your or anyone else’s life lessons.
Open to suggestions
While we’ve listed the genres of nonfiction books we’re most interested in, feel free to contact us if you have any other ideas. We’re open to suggestions, and we’ll see how much of a market there is for the topic you send through to us.

Luthando Ningiza is a deeply spiritual man who wants to share his thoughts about God. In God of Mankind, he shows how humans can change their ways through meditation and prayer and grow close to the Lord.
Greatness of God
Here’s another inspirational book by Luthando, showing us how to repair our relationships with God. It has insightful thoughts on how great the Lord is, with meaningful practises on getting closer to him every day.
