Welcome to my Haunted Bloodlines preview for PC! Today, I bring you exciting details about an upcoming horror survival puzzle game on Steam. The developer is Horrified Triangles, and the publisher is Iphigames. The demo is available if you want to try it out, but I can’t wait to try the full game when it releases. It has some Silent Hills /P.T. Demo vibes with first-person horror, survival, and puzzle elements.
I won’t give a score in my Haunted Bloodlines preview. For now, it’s a taster of what the game is like, but I don’t want to give a final verdict until I’ve played the whole game. I’ll mainly share my experience with it and what the gameplay and audio-visual elements are like. There’s also a hint of the story.
So, let’s dive into my Haunted Bloodlines preview with the demo game on Steam!

A Haunted Mansion Inherited
I want to start my Haunted Bloodlines preview with the story element. So when the game starts, you jump right into the action. You’re in a mansion with no idea why. However, the story unfolds as you play. Your father suddenly died, and he left you this wonderful mansion hidden deep in a forest. Thanks, dad.
While visiting the mansion, strange things happen around you. Despite dying several times, you keep coming back to where you last were, the demon ready to taunt you again. The more you play, the more you uncover the truth of what happened in this haunted place. There are some family secrets that should remain mysteries.
Clues and Puzzles
You’ll find many clues for puzzles along the way. Don’t think they’ll be easy for one second. Or rather, they may be so easy that you may disregard the signs. This is something I discovered while playing the horror game for my Haunted Bloodlines preview.
I won’t give the first puzzle away. Let me just say that I was so distracted by what I thought the clue meant, I missed the most obvious clue of how to solve it. You may need to think out of the box if you want to survive these haunted rooms.
I will just say one more thing about the puzzles for my Haunted Bloodlines preview. Putting a timed puzzle right at the start is a bit intimidating. I enjoy a challenge, but rushing me at the beginning wasn’t a great way to get me excited about the horror demo. Still, I was so glad when I finally figured out what I had been doing wrong.
Creepy Environment
One of the greatest elements of praise in my Haunted Bloodlines preview is the creepy environment. Every aspect of this horror mansion will test your wits and quick thinking. It’s a living, breathing building that shifts and changes as you play. You’ll walk from room to room wondering what it has in store for you next. Just walking down that first passage gave me chills and a smile on my face. I would love for these guys to adapt my Sacred Valley horror novel into a game like this.
True Survival Gameplay
Another Haunted Bloodlines preview element I want to talk about is the survival gameplay. If you hope to find weapons to fight with, lose all hope. When the ghosts/demons appear, your life is basically over. It’s a true survival horror game in every essence of the genre. It’s best to solve the puzzles in time and get the hell out of that mansion.
There are three main gameplay elements I want to cover in my Haunted Bloodlines preview:
- Escaping is key: Your main choice when confronted with evil is to hide or run. Also, you need to be careful of where HER presence is, as she’s ready to torment your mind.
- Sanity level: As tragic events happen in front of or around you, you will start going insane. There’s a meter to show you how well your mind is coping. The more insane you become, the more vulnerable you are to HER attacks.
- Time: You’ll be unfolding the story between the present and the past to learn about your family secrets. There are many times events, and you’ll lose your sanity while trying to solve some of them.
Eerie Sounds and Visuals
Of course, you want the sounds and graphics to play a huge role in a horror game. Haunted Bloodlines does just that. With fantastic visuals in a first-person perspective, every painting, item, and whisper brings chills to the bones. The noises you’ll hear from unknown sources will have you on the edge of your pants, wondering what it was and if it’s near you.
Jumpscares Galore
There’s a mixture of suspense and Jumpscares in Haunted Bloodlines. When your sanity meter gets full, you can expect HER to jump out with a loud noise and kill you. There are many other moments like this too. However, the air of suspense is what will get to you as the story unfolds. You’ll have foreshadowing moments, and also times when you meet others that you’re unsure of. All in all, they know how to build up the tension.
Haunted Bloodlines Preview PC: Initial Verdict
When I first played this horror game for my Haunted Bloodlines preview, I was sick with flu. As such, I became slightly frustrated with the first puzzle, as something in the clue made me think of a specific way to solve it. It was only when playing again with a healthier mind that I realised my mistake.
This is what makes this game so interesting. You may think you know what something means, but you’ll need to dig deeper. Overall. I love the visuals and mystery in the game. Walking through the eerie passages is exhilarating, while the jumpscares will certainly make your heart beat faster. If you love horror, mystery and suspense, then Haunted Bloodlines is for you.
