Myst is now available for iOS devices with exciting gameplay

It’s finally happening! Cyan is launching the definitive mobile port of our legendary game Myst today on iOS! After playing it on so many platforms before over the ages, it’s fantastic that the fantasy puzzle game is getting a new release on mobile.

This new port for iPhone and iPad is a fully reimagined version of the beloved classic that first released in 2021 for PC and console and is coming to mobile just in time to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary.

This port will be free to start, and lets players explore the entirety of Myst Island for free, without a time limit. Players who want to explore further can unlock the other Ages of Myst with a one-time in-app purchase.

Indie studio Cyan have announced that Myst Mobile, the mobile port of their critically acclaimed puzzle game Myst, is out on iOS today! Their reimagination of the best-selling PC game of the 20th century won the award for the Mac App Store Game of the Year in 2021.

Visit the intriguing Myst Island, stunning and mysterious in equal measure. As you slowly uncover what has happened to it and how you fit among the pieces of a riveting grander puzzle, you’ll navigate beautiful, long-dormant locations known as “Ages.” Explore the deeper connections at play, discover a story of family heartbreak, and make choices that will affect both you and this surrealistic world.

If you wish to unlock the secrets of the Ages beyond Myst Island, there will be an in-app purchase of $14.99/£12.99. A special introductory discount is planned for the launch.
