Welcome to the ninth part of our Silent Hill Retrospective 2022, looking at Silent Hill The Escape and all it has to offer.

Silent Hill The Escape (2007)

Konami Digital Entertainment also made Silent Hill The Escape for Konami in 2007. It was a first-person shooting game where you move your fingers on the screen to proceed and then tap to shoot. It featured different versions of the monsters we’ve seen before, such as the nurses.

Once you beat the game with the human character, you can replay it as an alien. After that, you play as a Shiba Inu called Mira. The last character you’ll have in the tutorial is Robbie the Rabbit who became the Lakeside Amusement Park mascot since its appearance in Silent Hill 3.

Essentially, it features different levels where you need to obtain keys to escape. While you may still find mobile copies of the game, you won’t really find them on popular app stores. Perhaps with Konami reviving the franchise, we’ll see mobile remakes of games like these.
