Valentine’s Day is almost here, and ARK: Survival Evolved is ready to spread the love with its returning Love Ascended event, bringing an array of romantic rewards and exciting in-game features. Kicking off on February 12, 2025, and running until February 19, 2025, this event offers all survivors a chance to bask in the glow of affection as they encounter adorable creatures, unique skins, and themed items to enhance their ARK adventures.
But that’s not all—Astraeos, the first-ever official partner DLC, will also make its debut on February 12th, adding more thrilling content to the game!
What to Expect from Love Ascended
ARK’s Love Ascended event will sweep across official servers, filling the world with heartwarming moments and special surprises. New event creatures, such as Lovebirds and Love Bugs, join the familiar V-Day Coel, allowing players to encounter these adorable critters during their journeys. For those seeking a bit more flair, the event will also bring unique Chibi-Lovebirds and Chibi Pair-o-Saurs, which can be collected during this festive period.
Event Rates and Bonuses
The Love Ascended event will also reward players with a boost to their in-game progression. Survivors can look forward to the following bonuses:
- PVP/PVE Servers: 2x Harvesting, Taming, Experience, and Breeding
- Small Tribes: 4.5x Harvesting, Taming, and Experience + 4x Breeding
- ARKpocalypse: 5x Harvesting, Taming, Experience, and Breeding
These increased rates are perfect for survivors who want to level up quickly or breed their creatures in time for the festivities.
New and Returning Event Content
As usual, Love Ascended brings more than just cute creatures. Players can expect a variety of event skins like the Pillow-Club Skin, Love-Chair, and even fun items like the Box o’ Chocolates, which can now reduce mating cooldowns by 20%. Plus, the event introduces a collection of emotes, such as the Proposal Emote and Lasso Emote, to add a touch of charm to your ARK adventures.
Something Special to Try: Astraeos DLC
Alongside Love Ascended, ARK players will also get to experience the debut of Astraeos, the first official partner DLC, which will be available on the same day, February 12, 2025. This DLC brings a brand-new twist to ARK’s universe, expanding the game’s lore and offering fresh opportunities for adventure.
Astraeos promises to be an intriguing addition to ARK, opening up new gameplay elements and deeper narratives that will keep both seasoned players and newcomers engaged.
How to Activate Love Ascended
Getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit on your private servers is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Go to the Mod Tab from the Main Menu.
- Search for Love Ascended in the ARK Mod list and install it (Mod ID: 927084).
- Once installed, go to Mod Settings to activate the mod and join in on the festivities.
For those who want to bring the event to their private servers, just add the mod ID -mods=927084 in your server command-line arguments. No additional changes are needed to activate the event.
